Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of the construction preparation for the superstructure of the Chýně-Hostivice inter-municipal school. The thesis is based on the provided project documentation. It is a four-story building without a basement, featuring a Z-shaped floor plan consisting of two main rectangular wings. Spatially, the building is divided by a central atrium into two functional units. The northern wing is dedicated exclusively to teaching, whereas the southern part houses a dining hall on the ground floor and gymnasiums with locker rooms on the upper floors. The top floor consists of rooftop classrooms with atypical dimensions. The structural system of the building is predominantly made of cast-in-place reinforced concrete structures (slabs, walls, columns), which are complemented by acoustic masonry infill.

The thesis itself consists of several key parts. It includes a technical report, traffic logistics, site organization design including a site layout drawing, and an occupational health and safety (OHS) plan. Furthermore, it contains method statements and inspection and test plans for the cast-in-place and masonry structures. In terms of time and financial planning, a bill of quantities with an itemized budget and a detailed time schedule were prepared. The schedule is supplemented by technological drawings defining the individual working sections. An integral part of the thesis is also the design of the machinery setup, which is evaluated in two alternative solutions.
