Abstract:

The goal of the bachelor's thesis is to determine the low-temperature properties of asphalt mixtures containing an asphalt waterproofing strip additive and to compare them with two asphalt mixtures, namely mixtures without additives and mixtures with a modified binder. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the failures of asphalt mixtures, the low-temperature properties of asphalt mixtures, tests of asphalt binder at low temperatures and tests of asphalt mixtures at low temperatures. The practical part describes the production of individual mixtures and the use of laboratory tests to determine low-temperature properties. In the conclusion of the thesis, the results of this test are evaluated and compared.
