This master’s thesis deals with the design of a condensing steam turbine with reaction blading intended to process the thermal power output of a 1360 MW small modular reactor. The designed turbine consists of a high-pressure section followed by a moisture separator reheater and a low-pressure section. First, a thermal scheme of the secondary circuit was developed, including both lowpressure and high-pressure feedwater regeneration, a water-cooled condenser, and a total of seven uncontrolled steam extractions, of which two are intended for high-pressure feedwater heaters, four for low-pressure feedwater heaters, and one for deaeration of the feedwater tank. The thermal scheme design also includes an analysis of the influence of steam reheating on the turbine operating parameters. In the detailed design phase, two steam turbine variants for the rated rotational speed of 3000 𝑚𝑖𝑛.were developed. The first concept consists of a double-flow high-pressure casing and two double-flow low-pressure casings with a total of eighteen stages arranged in eight cones. In contrast, the second turbine variant includes one additional double-flow low-pressure casing, resulting in a total of twenty stages. Operating characteristics of the individual stages were determined and subsequently compared for both proposed turbine designs.

Student odprezentoval obsah své diplomové práce. Otázky oponenta byly zodpovězeny. V průběhu obhajoby byly položeny následující doplňující otázky. Pan Ing.
