This master’s thesis explores the concept of the embodied emotion as a key element in the process of shaping subjectivity. It views identity as a dynamic construct emerging at the intersection of bodily experience, unconscious processes, and sedimented relational patterns. The theoretical part draws upon Rosi Braidotti’s reflections on vitality (zoe) and the deeper psychophysical foundations of human existence, which condition our capacity for existence and creation within a shared world. The thesis identifies significant parallels in the work of Ana Mendieta, Eva Kmentová, and Adriena Šimotová, whose approaches to physicality, memory, and natural forces establish the vital discursive framework of the text.

The practical part of the thesis, originally titled "The In-Between of the Gaze" (Meziprostor pohledů), consists of a collection of paintings on various substrates. This cycle is presented as a spatial installation, while its creation primarily employs an intuitive approach. The artist's method is based on the intuitive layering of diverse materials and gestural painting, executed mainly in acrylic, where personal history and bodily memory become the starting point for seeking an authentic form. The resulting artifacts reflect the relationship between internal experience and its material trace.

The installation, titled "In-between Space of Bodies" (Meziprostor těl), attempts to deconstruct social hierarchies and binary divisions between human, animal, masculine, and feminine beings. The aim is to create an environment that activates a quality of playfulness and creativity in the viewer, inviting them toward visual exploration of the exhibited works. Thus, the thesis moves toward establishing an inclusive view of life as a flow of shared energy that permeates all beings without distinction.
