This Master's thesis is a personal record of searching for a form to represent the theme of sensitivity through the medium of paper. It stems from a reflection on early experiences where sensitivity was perceived as a weakness and follows an attempt to grasp it within the creative process. The text documents a journey from internal barriers and constant cycling to the need to begin with a reflection on one's own fragility within an invisible social order. The work seeks parallels between bodily experience and the material, drawing on the context of contemporary art practice and literary reflections on the female perspective.
The practical part documents a transformation: from the first body imprints and lipstick pigments on paper to the moment the author thrashes her previous works into paper pulp. Through this step, the material is stripped of its original form and fixed frame, allowing it to become an autonomous, amorphous mass. The result is a process-based installation that works with time, gradual desiccation, and physical presence in space. A key element is the ritual of tending to the drying matter, which allows the author to surrender the need for control and commit to the process. The aim is to create a place of stillness that allows the viewer to perceive their own presence within the system of which we are all a part.
