Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of brownfield regeneration in the statutory city of Brno, focusing on the evaluation of their urban potential and the possibilities of integrating blue-green infrastructure (BGI) in the context of climate change adaptation. Using GIS tools, the thesis first maps the city's current spatial reserve, which comprises 158 neglected sites with a total area of nearly 349 hectares, dominated by former industrial and manufacturing areas. Subsequently, the theoretical and analytical findings are applied to two specific case studies. The first of these, the former Veveří 40 military area, demonstrates excellent pedestrian accessibility to civic amenities and public transport through isochrone modeling, thereby fully satisfying the urban concept of a 15-minute city. The second study focuses on the transformation of the Nová Zbrojovka complex and quantifies its ecological potential by comparing calculations of the traditional Green Coefficient (KZ = 0.36) and the functional Norwegian Blue-Green Factor (MZF = 0.51). The difference achieved in these values explicitly demonstrates that two-dimensional spatial regulations fail to adequately capture the real ecological performance of the territory. The results thus confirm that a systematic shift from grey infrastructure to synergistic blue-green solutions is absolutely essential for sustainable urban development, and spatial analysis tools represent an effective key to their objective planning and evaluation.

Během své prezentace s názvem Analýza potenciálu revitalizace brownfieldů na území města s s přihlédnutím k MZI pohovořil o řešené problematice a představil cíle a zájmové oblasti práce. Představil použitý software a jeho účel. Na situační mapě ukázal rozlohu brownfieldů v Brně a jejich využití. Graficky znázornil jejich vývoj v průběhu let. Výklad je podložen extenzivní výkresovou dokumentací. Podrobněji se pak zaměřil na první z vybraných lokalit, Vojenské sklady Veveří. Ukázal analýzu dostupnosti zdravotnických zařízení, obchodů s potravinami a zastávek MHD a vyhodnotil parametry potenciálního využití brownfieldu. Podobně představil druhou vybranou lokalitu, Stará Zbrojovka Brno. Parametrem pro hodnocení byl koeficient zeleně a modrozelený faktor. Nakonec shrnul výsledky a přínosy práce. Následovaly otázky oponenta práce doc. Ing. Aleše Drába, Ph.D. 1. Jak by se změnil výsledný koeficient MZF (0,51), pokud by u administrativních budov v Nové Zbrojovce byly realizovány intenzivní zelené střechy místo standardních nepropustných? 2.
