Abstract:

Matyáš Dynka’s bachelor thesis, titled Response through Gentle Anarchism, introduces the namesake concept as a form of "sensitization." Here, gentle anarchism is not understood as a specific political ideology, but rather as a "vibe"—something that eludes precise definition and must be felt and understood through artistic commentary. The project consists of a supporting "vibe-kit" and a primary spatial installation located in the courtyard of the House of the Lords of Kunštát in Brno. The centerpiece of the work is a two-story scaffolding structure fitted with petroleum blue banners that combine sloganistic poetry, illustrations, and satire. In his texts, the author intentionally avoids straightforward agitation, moving instead toward poetic reflection on themes such as rent, urban surveillance, and techno-feudalism. Positioning itself between architecture and a protest medium, the installation serves as a springboard for future public space projects and as a conceptual base for further guerrilla raids into the surrounding environment.

Process of defence

Student zahájil obhajobu prezentací své práce. Jedná se o instalaci ve veřejném prostoru nádvoří Domu pánů z Kunštátu. Následně byly přečteny posudky vedoucího práce a oponenta. Student poté odpovídal na otázky z posudků a rozpravy. V otevřené diskusi komise ocenila kompaktnost práce, její modularitu a práci s formáty vlajek, bannerů a zinů. Pozitivně byl hodnocen také koncept „VibeKitu“ jako součást instalace k nahlédnutí. Komise vyzdvihla uvědomělou práci s pojmem „kněžní anarchismus“ a jeho implementaci do veřejného prostoru. Oceněna byla funkčnost instalace, poetický rozměr i nadsázka. Dále byla pozitivně hodnocena grafická stránka práce, materiálové řešení a forma „3D zinu“. Komise diskutovala také možné galerijní využití projektu a jeho přesah k aktivismu, včetně kritických motivů a práce s tématy veřejného prostoru. V závěru komise doporučila další rozvoj formy v oblasti reklamního hackingu, rozhlasu a práce se společenskou kritikou, a ocenila celkovou formální i obsahovou soudržnost práce.
