This master's thesis focuses on design of robotic workstation for handling rotor and stator laminations, including end effector. The introductory section presents topics essential for understanding the issues and summarizes current state of knowledge. The system analysis describes parameters affecting design process. Next chapter of this thesis presents potential variants of workplace specialization, layout and the concept of end effectors. Solution variants are evaluated using multi-criteria analysis method. This is followed by engineering design part of the thesis, in which the end effector, including pneumatic components, is developed first. Within the design of robotic workstation, all key elements required for lamination stack assembly are processed. The outputs of the engineering design are presented in form of 3D models and drawing documentation of selected parts. The thesis concludes with an economic and technical summary of the proposed solution.
