Abstract:

This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of nearly zero-energy house for
a family of four located in Hradec Králové region. It’s divided into two parts:
architectural and structural design, including fire safety design and building physics assessment, and the design of building building services system with the detailed HVAC project documentation. House is a two-storey with an L-shaped floor plan. The ground floor includes an entrance hall, utility room, toilet, storage space under the staircase, living room with a kitchen, pantry, and an external storage room accessible only from the outside. The first floor consists of a bedroom, bathroom, toilet, and two children’s room with a walk-in closet. The foundations consist of concrete strip footings. The walls are made of ceramic blocks. The floors are made of concrete slabs. The house has a truss roof. From the fire safety perspective, the building falls into category OB1 and complies with standard fire safety requirements without the need of additional special measures. In terms of building physics, the house meets all required thermal transmittance values. The location has minimal traffic noise. The building also complies with the requirements for daylight and solar access.
The second part of the thesis focuses of building services. Heat is provided
by an air to-water heat pump with a storage tank, which supplies both underfloor heating system and domestic hot water distribution. During the summer period, the heat pump can also be used for cooling the building, with the cooling output distributed to the interior through fan coil units. To reduce solar heat gains during summer, external blinds are installed. At the same time, these allow maximum utilization of solar energy during the winter due to possibility of fully retracting them. The supply of fresh water is supplied through connection to the public water distribution network, while rainwater is collected in an accumulation tank, some of it is used for additional purposes like watering the garden and flushing toilets and some of it is directed to the infiltration pit on the property. Part of the electrical energy demand is covered by photovoltaic panels installed on the roof, while the remaining electricity demand is supplied from the public power grid. The building achieves energy performance class A according to the Energy Performance Certificate.

Studentka nejprve představila svou bakalářskou práci formou prezentace v PowerPointu, kde popsala jednotlivé vypracované části. Vyjádřila se k připomínkám oponenta a odpovídala na připomínky členů komise. Otázky členů komise: 1. Výhody a nevýhody jednovrstvého zdiva. 2. Druhy použitých malt. 3. Popis nosných a nenosných stěn. 4. Použití předstěnových systémů. 5. Systémy kanalizace v objektu. 6. Dispoziční řešení objektu. Studentka vcelku dobře reagovala na připomínky oponenta i členů komise k předložené bakalářské práci a snažila se obhájit většinu svých řešení.
