This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design of tunable optical metasurfaces utilizing phase-change materials and multi-objective optimization methods. The thesis summarizes the operating principles of metasurfaces, approaches to controlling their optical response, and methods used for the inverse design of photonic structures. Attention is also devoted to numerical methods employed for electromagnetic simulations and metasurface optimization. Within the scope of this work, meta-atoms containing vanadium dioxide were simulated using the FDTD and RCWA methods, and their amplitude and phase responses in different temperature states were analyzed. Based on the obtained data, a library of meta-atoms was created and subsequently used for the design of a switchable metahologram optimized through automatic differentiation in the PyTorch framework and light propagation using the ASM method. The result of this work is the design of a tunable metasurface capable of generating different holographic patterns depending on temperature and the wavelength of the incident radiation.
