The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyse the carbon footprint of a three-member household and to propose measures for its reduction. The introductory theoretical part describes the basic principles of climate change, the properties of greenhouse gases, and methodologies for their reporting. Attention is mainly focused on the structure of emissions in the household sector and the factors that influence it. The second, practical part focuses on calculating the carbon footprint of a specific household based on real data regarding energy consumption, modes of transport, and consumer behavior. The calculations are conducted in accordance with the international GHG Protocol standard, and emissions are classified into Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 categories. The calculation results are subsequently compared with values obtained using available online calculation tools (CI2 and Carbon Footprint) and with average values for the Czech Republic and the European Union. Based on the conducted analysis, the main sources of emissions are identified at the end of the thesis, and technical and behavioral measures are proposed to reduce (decarbonize) the household's carbon footprint.

Student odprezentoval obsah své diplomové práce. Otázky oponenta byly zodpovězeny. V průběhu obhajoby byly položeny následující doplňující otázky. Pan doktor Kracík se dotazuje k používané biomase, odkud ji máte? Jsou tam nepřímé emise? Elektřina domácnosti - tabulka 2, jak jste stanovil hodnotu? Otázky byly zodpovězeny. Biomasa je CO2 neutrální, jak vzniká metan při spalování dřeva? Dotazy byly částečně zodpovězeny.
