This bachelor’s thesis deals with the optimization of AFM and C-AFM measurements in the LiteScope microscope and the implementation of an in-situ cell for battery sample measurements using AFM-in-SEM technology. The thesis first introduces the applied measurement techniques and provides a theoretical background on electrical noise and electromagnetic interference affecting the system during operation. Subsequently, the system is subjected to signal analysis to identify the dominant sources of interference. Based on the results of this analysis, practical modifications to the system are introduced to suppress these phenomena and optimize the measurement process. A comparison of the parameters before and after the modifications confirmed a reduction in mutual interference; however, it also revealed a slight increase in signal leakage to the ground. In the final phase, the thesis presents the design of mechanical modifications enabling the implementation of a Thermo Fisher Scientific in-situ cell directly into the LiteScope microscope. This integration opens new possibilities for correlative microscopy, specifically for real-time topography and conductivity measurements during battery cycling. Finally, the proposed setup is tested in a practical experiment, demonstrating its full mechanical and electrical compatibility with the LiteScope device.
