This bachelor's thesis deals with the innovation of an experimental DC motor test bench and its virtual twin, created as part of a previous bachelor's thesis. The goal was to identify and subsequently eliminate construction deficiencies and expand the testing site's capabilities. On the mechanical side, the shaft was remounted on pillow block units, the fan impeller and spiral housing were redesigned, a new base plate was designed, and the optical encoder was replaced with a magnetic one. In the measuring and control system, a new main PCB with an isolated delta-sigma ADC was designed for accurate voltage and current measurement, a rotor PCB with BLE communication was added, and the motor driver was replaced. A throttle valve driven by a stepper motor was implemented to enable continuous adjustment of the fan's mechanical load, including protective control logic responding to winding temperature. The functionality of the improved test bench was verified through temperature rise tests at supply voltages of 20 V and 30 V. The results are compared with the numerical model of the motor and the identified systematic deviations are analysed.
