This bachelor thesis focuses on the development and application of a computational tool for predicting the energy production of photovoltaic power plants. The theoretical section describes the physical principles of solar panels, their various types, and their construction. The computational tool is developed using the Python programming language and is capable of simulating the power output of a photovoltaic plant with a 15-minute resolution. The algorithm thoroughly models the character of incident radiation using meteorological TMY data, while taking into account energy losses related to temperature, ray reflection, and low irradiance. The accuracy of the tool was validated with data from a real photovoltaic power plant, and the results proved to be comparable to those from well-established simulation tools. Subsequently, the tool was successfully used in an optimization study examining the influence of solar panel tilt and orientation on annual yield, profit, and self-consumption.

Student odprezentoval obsah své bakalářské práce. Otázky oponenta byly zodpovězeny. V průběhu obhajoby byly položeny tyto doplňující otázky: 1) Co nám vyjadřují meteorologická data? Zodpovězeno. Co jste zadal v PVGIS? Zodpovězeno. 2) Proč hodnota ceny klesla na nulu? Zodpovězeno. Další dotaz byl zaměřen na hodnoty v PVGISU. Zodpovězeno.
