This master's thesis addresses the design, implementation, and experimental validation of a system for the non-contact positioning of lightweight industrial components using oscillating air streams generated by an array of fluidic oscillators. The specific manipulation scenario involves the clustering and rotation of plastic caps without any mechanical contact. A modular annular nozzle array comprising twelve fluidic oscillators and an air knife system for preliminary positioning were fabricated using additive manufacturing. These components were integrated with a Fanuc industrial robot, a machine vision system, and a programmable logic controller (PLC) into a functional workstation managed by a state machine. To detect and evaluate the orientation of the manipulated objects, an image processing algorithm based on segmentation in the HSV color space was implemented. Simultaneous pulsed operation of all twelve nozzles with a period of 120 ms and an inter-pulse interval of 40 ms was experimentally determined as the optimal activation pattern. The results of the experimental validation quantify the accuracy and repeatability of the manipulation, compressed air consumption, and the acoustic load of the workstation. This work expands the currently very limited body of knowledge regarding the use of sweeping jets for non-contact industrial manipulation.

Student obeznámil komisi s výsledky své DP. Po přečtení posudků následovaly dotazy oponenta (viz posudek oponenta) a komise: Informace o zpracování dat. Dotaz na kamerový systém (zpracování, ověření, vyhodnocení). Dynamika otočení (návrh pulsů). Úprava řídící sekvence vzhledem k obměně víček. Student reagoval na všechny dotazy uspokojivě. Komise zhodnotila DP jako velice přínosnou a zajímavou. Jako jediný nedostatek DP vnímala absenci informací o kamerovém systému.
