This master’s thesis deals with the design of ventilation, heating and cooling systems for an accommodation facility created through the conversion of a former municipal school building. The thesis also includes the design of measures aimed at improving the building’s energy efficiency. The thesis demonstrates the possibility of effectively utilizing a deteriorating building with historical value that is not heritage protected. As part of the thesis, modifications to the building layout and measures for reducing heat losses were proposed. Based on the performed technical calculations, systems ensuring a high-quality indoor environment were subsequently designed, specifically mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, heating using an air-to-water heat pump, and local cooling of selected rooms using multisplit systems. Design documentation was prepared for the proposed systems. The thesis also includes a basic economic evaluation of the project and an assessment of the investment payback period for the reconstruction. Finally, an Energy Performance Certificate was prepared, confirming that even a historical building can be transformed into an energy-efficient building with a high-quality indoor environment.

Student seznámil zkušební komisi s průběhem řešení, výsledky a závěry své závěrečné práce. V návaznosti na posudky student zodpověděl dotazy oponenta. V rozpravě k DP byly položeny studentovi dále tyto otázky: Doc. Fišer položil doplňující dotaz k otázce oponenta týkající se nárůstu výkonu chlazení v závislosti na vlhkosti vzduchu. Student dotaz zodpověděl. Doc. Lízal dotaz směřoval k upřesnění způsobu stanovení nákladů na profese pomocí umělé inteligence. Student danou problematiku objasnil. Dotaz doc. Fišera směřoval k podmínkám, za kterých by náklady uvedené v grafu zůstávaly konstantní. Student dotaz zodpověděl. Další dotaz doc. Fišera směřoval na řešení odvodu kondenzátu. Student dotaz zodpověděl.
