This thesis focuses on the development and validation of a parametric multispectral camera model. During the design of a multispectral camera, optimal filter selection is critical. Any errors could render the camera unusable for a given application. To aid the process, the model implements a mathematical simulation of the optical pathway for each spectral band. It calculates the output image based on the Relative Spectral Response (RSR) of the optical pathway and hyperspectral input with high spectral resolution. The model was then validated against MicaSense Altum-PT. The Spectral Angle Mapper (SAM) results demonstrated a difference of less than 0.066 rad for Lambertian materials. Furthermore, the model is showcased in a contrast enhancement task, where it is used for identification of optimal filters. The final simulation package offers a fully automated simulation pipeline and was published as an open-source Python package to PyPI under the name ms_camera_model.

Při obhajobě student nejprve prezentoval svoji diplomovou práci, následně byly přečteny posudky a student odpovídal na dotazy oponenta. Poté byly členy komise položeny následující otázky: Jaká je koncová aplikace zařízení? Jaký vliv má přisvícení scény s definovanou vlnovou délkou? Obhajoba byla komisí hodnocena jako výborná.
