This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a suspension component for a reversible aerial ropeway with a capacity of 60 people and the selection of suitable wire ropes. The ropeway is designed for a track with a horizontal distance of 1,600 meters and a vertical rise of 650 meters without any pylon. The design is carried out in accordance with current standards. The introductory part focuses on system parameters and operating modes. The next part presents an analysis of the structural design of the chosen concept. It also includes the design of the track and hauling ropes of the ropeway. The final part of the thesis focuses on the strength analysis of all load-bearing and functional components.
