This thesis deals with the computational analysis of modifications to the supporting structure of a bridge crane. The main objective of the thesis is to comprehensively assess the impact of various technological processes and structural modifications on the strength, stiffness, and reliability of the bridge crane. The introduction includes a literature review and a description of the current state of the field. The main part of the thesis consists of applying numerical simulations to evaluate the stress and strain states of the structure. In the first phase of the work, a simulation of the main girder welding is performed using the Simufact Welding program. In the subsequent section, a simulation of the mechanical properties of the original bridge is performed without any structural modifications. Subsequently, the properties of the bridge after the application of the proposed modifications are simulated. In the conclusion of the thesis, a comparison of the results of all simulated conditions is performed, based on which an optimal modification of the structure is proposed and evaluated to ensure safe and reliable operation of the equipment.

Student prezentoval svou závěrečnou práci a odpověděl na otázky vedoucího i oponenta. Dále odpovídal na dotazy členů zkušební komise a to následovně: 1) Uvažoval jste i s dělením materiálu bez vnesení tepla, např. vodním paprskem - odpověděl 2) Uvažoval jste o možnosti experimentálního ověření navrženého řešení? - odpověděl 3) Modelování s ohledem na zbytkové napětí - částečně odpověděl
