The diploma thesis deals with the issue of precise alignment of flexographic printing machine units at Soma spol. s r. o. The main objective is to rationalize the current procedure for aligning flexographic printing machine modules, which currently lacks a unified methodology and adequate controllability, and therefore the entire process depends on the individual experience of assembly workers. The thesis uses an empirical-analytical detailed analysis of assembly processes both in the Czech Republic and abroad. It identifies key shortcomings leading to register errors and instability of the material web path and, based on these errors, proposes appropriate improvements. In the practical part, an innovative alignment procedure is proposed, and requirements are defined for new, structurally simple and easily portable measuring fixtures. These elements make it possible to achieve high geometric accuracy even under the limited conditions of foreign installations, where heavy handling equipment is not available. The proposed solution was subsequently experimentally verified directly in operation, and the obtained data were evaluated. The results demonstrate that the new methodology significantly increases measurement repeatability, reduces the overall assembly time, simplifies the entire process, and eliminates the risk of operational defects in the machine. The main contribution of the thesis is the creation of a unified assembly and controllable standard, which substantially improves the technical level of the final product and optimizes the company’s service activities on a global scale.
