The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a modular robotic application INTRA for prototyping technological processes in the field of advanced manufacturing. The motivation is the growing demand for flexible robotic systems that can be easily adapted to various manufacturing technologies, such as additive manufacturing, welding, bonding, and robotic inspection, especially in small-batch production conditions. The proposed solution is a system based on the ROS 2 framework for developing robotic applications, with an emphasis on modularity and scalability. The solution integrates machine vision and motion planning methods, enabling the execution of tasks based on visual perception of the workspace. Individual operations are implemented on top of the common INTRA system infrastructure, without modifications to the core architecture. As part of the master’s thesis, a software driver was developed for external control of ABB robots equipped with the OmniCore controller, as well as a mechanism for automatic tool change. The thesis concludes with a validation of the system on selected demonstration tasks.

Student obeznámil komisi s výsledky své DP. Po přečtení posudků následovaly dotazy oponenta (viz posudek oponenta) a komise: Limitace reálné svařovací aplikace. Srovnání s jinými roboty (např. Fanuc). Algoritmy na plánování pohybu. Dotaz na vlastní implementaci. Svařovací zdroje. Implementace. Vysvětlení pojmu 'deterministický' v DP. Směrování ve smyslu univerzálnosti. Budoucí posun práce. DP komisi velmi zaujala. S odpověďmi studenta byla nadmíru spokojena.
