Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design a new sustainable urban structure within
the context of the Czech cultural and historical environment. The thesis focuses on
the creation of an urban study of the city of Prostějov, with the objective of building
upon the existing urban structure and creating a pleasant city for living in the 21st
century. The study takes into account the social, environmental, and economic
aspects of the proposal. It includes multi-criteria analyses of both the addressed and
affected areas. Furthermore, the study contains problem-oriented drawings,
including evaluations of the city’s characteristics and conditions. The design section
focuses on the revitalization of the environment, the addition of new development,
and the overall improvement of the city center for the daily life of its residents. The
thesis also addresses transportation solutions for the city center. The
documentation includes design drawings and a physical model of the area.

Studentka představila svůj projekt diplomové práce na téma „Urbanistický návrh soudobé městské struktury (čtvrti) v kontextu historického města“. Popis urbanistické koncepce, funkčního a prostorového řešení bylo přesvědčivě. Po přečtení posudků vedoucího práce a oponenta studentka reagovala na otázky položené oponentem. V odborné rozpravě nad obhajovanou prací komise pokládala dotazy týkající se následujících témat: - důvod zkosených nároží, - bilance v území, - parkování rezidentů. Na připomínky oponenta reagovala studenta přijatelným způsobem, na otázky položené členy komise k předložené práci odpovídala poněkud nejistě, některé z nich nebyl schopen zodpovědět zcela uspokojivě.
