This bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a passenger traction elevator cage supporting frame with a nominal capacity of 500 kg and a nominal speed of 1.0 m·s⁻¹. The elevator is designed for a four-story residential building with a top machine room and uses a 2:1 roping arrangement. The thesis is divided into a design part and a calculation part. The design section encompasses the layout design, a 3D model, and the assembly drawing documentation of the frame. The calculation section focuses on the analytical verification of key safety and load-bearing components in accordance with the EN 81-20 and EN 81-50 standards. It includes strength calculations for the steel suspension ropes, verification of the drive's traction capability under all normative conditions, and a comprehensive assessment of the guide rail system, resulting in the selection of T70-1/B guide rails. The result is a functional and safe technical solution that fully complies with all given parameters and standard requirements.
