This bachelor's thesis deals with a routing study for the bypass of the Brno city district of
Dvorska. The aim of the thesis is to examine and propose several possible route
alternatives for the planned road. The study specifically evaluates variants defined by
the current spatial plan of the City of Brno, a route located south of Dvorska, a variant
situated northeast of Brno–Tuřany Airport, and other alternatives arising from the spatial
constraints and possibilities of the area. The proposed variants are subsequently
compared and assessed in terms of their advantages and disadvantages based on a
broad range of traffic-engineering and environmental criteria. The outcome of the thesis
is complete project documentation for the two main recommended route alternatives,
including situational drawings, longitudinal profiles, and typical as well as detailed crosssections.
