This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of aging in lithium-ion batteries and the possibilities of their secondary utilization after decommissioning from electric vehicles. The first part of the thesis maps the theoretical foundations, operating principles, and material compositions of commonly used battery cells, along with the characteristics of stationary battery energy storage systems. Furthermore, the mechanisms of calendar and cyclic aging are analyzed in detail, including operational factors affecting degradation and the lifespan of battery systems. The main part of the thesis is dedicated to the process of integrating retired batteries into second-life applications. Attention is focused on the individual technological steps from collection, through advanced diagnostics, to the actual integration into stacionary energy storage systems. The results of the final analysis are the economic benefits of this process, a comparison of the environmental advantages of secondary use versus direct recycling, and the identification of key legislative or technological challenges facing the broader commercial deployment of these storage systems.

3) Parametr SOH.
