This diploma thesis addresses shortcomings in the area of real-time data management and asset inventory, where existing software solutions are often slow and inefficient. The proposed solution presents an innovative approach to real-time asset intelligence through the integration and correlation of data from employee lists, access rights, device scans, and system logs. The focus is on servers, IP addresses, and user accounts. Security risks and discrepancies are identified at each layer of data processing. By correlating data, new network entities are successfully identified and classified, leading to a significant improvement in the existing inventory. For server classification, the kNN method from the field of artificial intelligence was applied, utilizing network behavior analysis. The result is a demonstrable reduction in the gap between the recorded and real state of assets within a short period. The thesis demonstrates the potential of the proposed agent in asset inventory management and suggests possibilities for further expansion.
