This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a rotary platform extending the functionality of scanCONTROL 3010-100BL laser profilometer for 3D surface reconstruction of objects. The designed system comprises a mechanical structure and electronics based on the Arduino. Two methods were implemented for acquisition synchronization - a discrete method scanning at defined angular positions and a continuous method utilizing constant-speed rotation with temporal interpolation of angular position. The system functionality was experimentally verified on selected specimens. Dimensional analysis of a 30 mm gauge block showed a lower systematic deviation for the continuous method compared to the discrete method. A negligible effect of rotation speed on data quality was also observed even at an eightfold increase. The result is a functional system for 3D surface reconstruction from 2D profile data, applicable for shape inspection and prototype digitalization.

Student seznámil komisi s výsledky své bakalářské práce a odpověděl na otázky oponenta. Následovala diskuze k závěrečné práci a otázky komise: Porovnání času skenování kontinuální a diskrétní metodou. Eliminace nebezpečí proklouznutí. Umístění synchronizační značky. Jaký je poměr ceny komponent a laserového profilometru. Student sebevědomě odpověděl na všechny dotazy komise k její spokojenosti.
