This bachelor thesis focuses on modern programming methods for coordinate measuring machines (CMM), with a particular emphasis on the utilization of Product Manufacturing Information (PMI). The theoretical section analyzes the Geometrical Product Specification system (ISO GPS), the matrix model of standards, and the principles of Model-Based Definition (MBD). The primary objective of the practical part is to compare the efficiency and accuracy of different measurement plan creation approaches in Zeiss Calypso software, ranging from manual programming to automated data extraction from PMI. Experimental measurements were conducted on a setting ring gauge with a 90 mm diameter using a Zeiss Eclipse 1000 machine. The thesis examines in detail the impact of metrological settings, specifically filtration methods (Gauss 500 UPR), on the final compliance with the calibration certificate. The acquired data were subsequently verified through reference measurement on a Hexagon CMM. The results confirm that the implementation of PMI data significantly reduces measurement preparation time and eliminates the risk of human error, thereby contributing to higher data integrity within the Industry 4.0 framework.
