This bachelor's thesis investigates the preparation of multicomponent semiconductors via vacuum evaporation, with potential applications in optoelectronics or photovoltaics. The preparation of inorganic halide perovskites and SnSe using vacuum co-deposition is described. Emphasis was placed on the directionality of the deposition, therefore, geometrically patterned substrates were fabricated using electron-beam lithography and anisotropic etching. Utilizing these substrates, perovskite lateral heterostructures were fabricated, the photoluminescence properties of which can be tuned by adjusting the precursor deposition rate ratios. This offers potential for the development of more efficient solar cells or low-dimensional pixels. In the second part, square SnSe structures with thicknesses in the order of single nanometers were prepared. Raman spectroscopy was employed as the primary analytical method. It was demonstrated that this technique enables the estimation of layer thickness without the need for more demanding analytical methods.
