Abstract:

The Bachelor’s thesis is devided into two main parts, the first of which deals
with architectural and structural design of a two-storey detached house located in
Vrahovice, Prostějov. The house is situated on a flat site and has a simple
rectangular plan. It is founded on concrete strip foundations. The structural
system, including external walls, floors, and the roof, is designed using aerated
concrete combined with mineral wool. The house consists of a two-storey
residential part and an adjacent garage for two cars with additional storage. Both
parts are covered by a shed roof and galvanized metal sheet roofing. The ground
floor contains an open-plan living room and kitchen with access to a garden porch,
a home fitness room, and a utility room, while the first floor comprises three
bedrooms and a bathroom, with a separate toilet on each floor.
The second part of the thesis focuses on the design of building services
systems, particularly sanitary installations. The water supply system is connected
to the public network, and the drainage system is divided into sanitary and
stormwater sewerage. Sanitary wastewater is discharged into the public sewer
system, while stormwater is collected in a storage tank and excess water is
directed to infiltration blocks on the plot. Space heating is provided by lowtemperature underfloor heating system supplied by an air-to-water heat pump. A
photovoltaic system is used to reduce energy demand, consisting of twelve
photovoltaic panels and a battery capacity of 10 kWh. Mechanical ventilation with
heat recovery is provided by a ceiling-mounted unit with an airflow rate of up to
400 m³/h and heat recovery efficiency of up to 91%. The design meets the
requirements for nearly zero-energy buildings and emphasizes energy efficiency
and indoor environmental quality.
