This bachelor´s thesis deals with the design of welded replaceable protective elements for hydraulic excavator bucket intended for operation in an abrasive environment. The thesis includes a review of current bucket protection solutions, a description of materials used, and the design of custom protective elements. The design was verified using analytical calculations and the finite element method in ANSYS software. The thesis also includes drawing documentation of selected protective elements.
