The presented thesis deals with the multi-criteria analysis of external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) and single-layer thermal insulation masonry, focusing on low-energy and passive building standards. Currently, there is an absence of a tool for the synchronous assessment of technical, economic, and environmental parameters in the pre-investment design phase, as a result of which designs are often burdened by information fragmentation. The aim of the thesis is to create a methodology and a calculation tool for the automated evaluation of these assemblies. As part of the solution, a database was compiled based on the CS ÚRS pricing system, environmental product declarations (EPD), the SBToolCZ methodology, and manufacturers' technical data sheets. Based on this, an interactive calculation tool was developed to generate, assess, and filter assemblies according to the requirements for the thermal transmittance coefficient U. For compliant variants, four specific indicators per 1 m² of functional unit are exactly determined: financial cost [CZK/m²], installation time requirement [Nh/m²], environmental impact (GWP) [kg CO₂e/m²], and areal mass [kg/m²]. The tool includes a dynamic analytical module that evaluates the simple and carbon payback periods (PP, CPP) and the return on investment (ROI) based on the principle of differential costs against a reference uninsulated structure. The main output of the thesis is an optimization platform providing designers with an exact data basis for selecting an efficient and sustainable building envelope solution.
