This bachelor's thesis deals with the formulation and analysis of the energy-sharing problem in rail transit using the framework of cooperative game theory. The objective is to design a fair mechanism for distributing energy savings among a heterogeneous group of actors, including standard traction units, battery-electric multiple units and stationary energy storage systems. The theoretical part establishes the mathematical foundation of games with transferable utility. In the practical part, a model of the grid is developed and implemented in MATLAB using the MatTuGames toolbox. This model is applied to a case study based on the real topology of tram lines 9 and 12 of the Brno Public Transport Company. Simulation demonstrates that the cooperative arrangement yields significant energy savings, specifically a 42 % reduction in external grid energy consumption. The model also continuously detects the player with the highest contribution, paving the way for the future implementation of active control.
