This Bachelor thesis deals with communication issues in the construction industry, focusing on the relationship between the main contractor and subcontractors. The aim is to analyse the communication processes on the construction project, identify bottlenecks in information flows and design measures to streamline them. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part defines the key concepts of project management, the typology of communication tools and the specificities of supply chains. In the practical part is carried out a case study of the project „I/44 Bludov - bypass“. The analysis is based on semi-structured interviews with stakeholders. The results found highlight problematic aspects such as lengthy contract negotiations, information overload of workers and technological inconsistency in the keeping of building records. At the end of the work, recommendations are formulated for the implementation of the common data environment (CDE) and the introduction of strategic management subcontractors.
