Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the preparation of project
documentation for the execution of construction of a kindergarten building
in Jihlava. The building is designed as a partially basemented structure with
two above-ground storeys and one underground storey.
The underground storey contains the technical facilities of the building,
consisting of three technical rooms, as well as a cleaning room and
a maintenance workshop with its own changing room and hygienic facilities.
The first above-ground storey is primarily intended for the operation of the
kindergarten for the youngest children and includes a classroom with
a playroom, a sleeping room, hygienic facilities, a cloakroom, an isolation
room, and a teachers’ office with its own hygienic facilities. Furthermore, this
storey includes a food preparation room with a dining area, hygienic facilities
including WC for persons with reduced mobility, WC for children and adults,
operational and storage spaces, facilities for kitchen staff including hygienic
rooms and a staff room, a cleaning room, a WC for persons with reduced
mobility with a changing table, garden WC, and a garden storage room. The
second above-ground storey is intended for older children and contains
a kindergarten classroom with similar operational and hygienic facilities
as on the first above-ground storey. This storey also includes the office of the
director and assistant director, rooms for speech therapy and preschool
counselling with a waiting area, a creative room, a kitchenette for employees,
storage and cleaning rooms, hygienic facilities for children and staff, two
terraces, and a loggia.
The building is founded on strip foundations with a base concrete slab.
The perimeter walls of the underground part are designed using concrete
masonry units for permanent formwork, while the perimeter and internal
load-bearing and non-load-bearing structures of the above-ground storeys
are designed as masonry made of ceramic blocks. The elevator shaft wall is
designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete structure. The floor structures
and staircases are designed as prefabricated reinforced concrete elements.
The building is covered with a single-layer flat green roof, and the aboveground
part of the building is designed with a ventilated façade.
