Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a new kindergarten building in the village of Bochoř. The project is prepared at the level of documentation for building permit and responds to the village's need to expand its preschool education capacity while also creating a space that could be used for community and leisure activities for children and residents of the village.

The proposed building is located on an undeveloped plot on the outskirts of Bochoř, where it connects to both residential development and open countryside. To the west, the plot borders on agricultural land, to the north it connects to new residential development, and the remaining two sides are bordered by roads.
The location of the building on the northern and eastern parts of the plot respects the surrounding environment and allows for a clear layout and safe movement of children. An important part of the design is also the kindergarten garden, which is directly connected to the indoor living spaces and is used for outdoor activities for children.

The kindergarten is located on the first floor, where there are two classrooms with the necessary sanitary and operational facilities, staff rooms, and common rooms. From the main entrance, visitors enter the entrance area connected to the children's cloakrooms. These spaces are seamlessly connected to individual classrooms, which are designed as separate functional units with play and recreation areas, sanitary facilities, and direct access to the outdoors. The classrooms are connected to common areas, including a dining room with facilities for serving meals. The recreation rooms have direct access to a covered terrace and further to the kindergarten garden, which allows for easy connection between the children's indoor and outdoor activities. The second floor is intended for leisure and community activities. These spaces are accessible separately and are separated from the kindergarten's common rooms, allowing them to be used outside of normal kindergarten hours. The layout of this floor is designed to be variable, with the option of an open space or division into smaller sections according to the current needs of the community.

The architectural design of the building is based on the character of the community and the scale of the surrounding buildings. The massing combines sections with a gabled roof, under which the administrative and community spaces are located, with sections covered by a flat roof with extensive vegetation, under which the kindergarten is located.
Structurally, the building is designed as a brick structure made of sand-lime bricks, supplemented by reinforced concrete ceilings and a roof truss made of glued laminated beams. The material design combines light-colored plaster and wooden elements.

The design also includes technical infrastructure, paved areas, fencing, and outdoor spaces. The building is designed to be barrier-free and emphasizes safe operation, a high-quality interior environment, and functionality.

Úvodem studentka představila svou práci Mateřská škola Bochoř. Následně byly přečteny posudky vedoucího a oponenta bakalářské práce. Připomínky oponenta směřovaly k významu budovy v uličním prostranství, významu společné jídelny,čistému a špinavému provozu, poloze umývárny, vertikálním komunikacím, vstupu do technické místnosti, římse, odstínu krytiny, na přednesené dotazy studentka reagovala. Dále proběhla odborná rozprava nad bakalářskou prací a komise formovala následující dotazy: poměr zelených a zpevněných ploch, architektonický detail, způsob odvodnění, způsob čistění skrytých žlabů, vynesení římsy, akustika, proslunění, tepelná technika, způsob zakládání. Studentka se snažila vcelku dobře reagovat na připomínky oponenta a zdůvodňovat svoje navrhovaná řešení, rovněž na většinu otázek členu komise k předložené práci reagovala dobře.
