The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the project design of a new kindergarten in the village of Bochoř. The documentation is prepared at the level of a building permit and follows up on an architectural study created within the course BGA021 – Architectural Design Studio 2. The aim of the work is to demonstrate the ability to provide a complex technical solution for the building in accordance with the architectural intent. The facility is designed as a detached, single-story, and non-basement building for the needs of public amenities. The building is situated on a flat municipal plot, which is currently undeveloped. The capacity of the kindergarten is set for two classes for a total of 56 children, while the operation is complemented by the necessary administrative and technical facilities. The architectural concept lies in working with an elementary, compact cuboid mass, which is shaped by the gradual subtraction of partial sections based on operational needs. This process creates protected leeward areas at the entrances and deep outdoor terraces within a single whole, which connect the indoor playrooms with the exterior. Structurally, it is a masonry building made of Ytong blocks with a ceiling made of prestressed Spiroll panels. The material solution underlines the concept – the living areas for children are hidden behind Thermowood wooden cladding, while the service wing remains in white plaster. The main objective of the design is to create a clear and safe space that provides children with a sense of protection, yet remains maximally open toward nature through large-format glazing. The layout is centered around a raised central hall with basilical lighting, which serves as the heart of the building and clearly defines the interface between the children's wing and the administrative facilities. The complex is designed as fully barrier-free and energy-efficient in the NZEB standard. The use of a heat pump, forced ventilation with heat recovery, photovoltaic panels, and an extensive green roof contributes to energy sustainability, while also improving the microclimate and aiding in rainwater retention.

Úvodem studentka představila svou práci Mateřská škola Bochoř. Následně byly přečteny posudky vedoucího a oponenta bakalářské práce. Připomínky oponenta směřovaly k významu budovy v rámci uličního prostranství, hlavním vchodům, řešení vstupní haly, propojení heren se zahradou, čistému a špinavému prostoru, fasádám, ochrany proti radonu, vhodnosti skladby podlahy, na přednesené dotazy studentka reagovala. Dále proběhla odborná rozprava nad bakalářskou prací a komise formovala následující dotazy: hala působí přátelsky, mobiliář by měl odpovídat více funkci, provoz stravování, konstrukční řešení, materiálové řešení, využití el. energie z fotovoltaiky během prázdnin, akustika, skladování pomůcek, řešení stropní konstrukce v návaznosti na římsu. Studentka s dokonalým přehledem zaujímala odborná stanoviska ke všem připomínkám oponenta a výborně reagovala na všechny dotazy členů komise, které byly k práci položeny.
