The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a new fast-food restaurant for visitors of a BMX track in Brno-Komárov. The site is located in an area with many sports facilities and is directly connected to a popular cycling path. The land is flat and has no major building restrictions. The main goal was to create a pleasant space for both BMX riders and the general public that reflects the dynamic nature of the sport. The building is expected to be used mainly by cyclists during the high season. It is a two-story building without a basement. The design consists of two intersecting rectangular blocks which create a terrace for watching races and the surrounding landscape. The upper floor is shifted, creating a significant overhang. The internal layout focuses on efficiency and clarity. All technical and service rooms are grouped together to maximize the public area and simplify the building's installations. The interior is designed for smooth movement, logically separating dining areas from service zones while keeping the space feeling open. The main entrances are located on the west side for the public and on the east side for staff. The entire building is fully accessible for people with disabilities. The structural system uses ceramic blocks combined with steel and reinforced concrete columns. The floors are made of monolithic concrete slabs supported by steel beams in areas with larger spans. The site also includes paved walkways and parking spaces for visitors and deliveries.
