The subject of this bachelor thesis is design of facilities for athletes of the TJ Favorit Brno BMX club. The BMX stadium is part of the sport areal Komec in Komárov. The Komec sports complex consists of multifunctional playing fields, tennis courts, a baseball field, and visitors can also use the skate park, children's playground, and climbing wall. Southeast of the complex, there  is a lookout tower and a bistro-café.
The design of the facilities is divided into two buildings according to their use. One building serves the public, while the other is intended for athletes (designed as part of an architectural study at the BGA036 studio – Architectural Design Studio 5; the bachelor's thesis focuses on the building for the public).
The building for the public is a two-story structure with a flat roof. The first floor houses a clubroom, a shop and rental of bicycles and cycling equipment, and bicycle service. The second floor houses a café. The building is expected to be used mainly in the summer, during the main BMX season, so a spacious terrace is designed and the café will have outdoor seating.
BMX is a very dynamic sport, so emphasis was placed on giving the building a dynamic appearance. The design uses bold colors, red and blue, the colors of the TJ Favorit club, complemented by white so that the building also symbolizes the national colors of the Czech Republic.
The aim of the design was to create the most pleasant environment possible for BMX racers and fans who attend the races.
