Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design and processing of an apartment building in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou, based on an architectural study from the course BGA036 Architectural Design Studio 5.

The apartment building is designed as a four-story building with basement. It has a total of 11 residential units with layouts of 3+1, 2+1, and 1+KK, each of which has its own basement storage unit and parking space. The shape of the building is conceived as a cuboid, the shape of which is disrupted by removal of mass to create corner loggias and terraces. The terraces are located on the top floor and are more recessed than the previous floors. The apartment building has a parking lot with a total of 16 parking spaces and a shelter for storing municipal waste.

The structural system is made of clay masonry, and the basement is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete structure. The entire building is covered with a warm flat roof.
