This thesis deals with the thermodynamic design of a condensing steam turbine with heat regeneration and a water cooled condenser. The steam turbine is designed for operation in the secondary circuit of a power plant with a small modular reactor with a thermal output of 200 MWt. The thesis includes a variant design of the heat balance scheme of the secondary circuit. The steam turbine design itself, which is carried out for a secondary circuit with a moisture separator and steam reheater, includes an impulse governing stage with partial admission and a stage section with reaction type blading. Stage section is divided into a single flow high pressure part and a double flow low pressure part. Attention is also given to the design of the labyrinth seal system and the compensation of axial forces by a balancing piston. In conclusion, the performance characteristic of the turbine is determined, and the effect of the condenser cooling water temperature increase on the overall energy balance is evaluated. The final steam turbine design achieves a rated internal power of 70,0 MW with an internal thermodynamic efficiency of 81,7 %.

Student odprezentoval obsah své diplomové práce. Otázky oponenta byly zodpovězeny. V průběhu obhajoby byly položeny následující doplňující otázky. Pan Ing. Sedlák se dotázal na rozdíly VT a NT ucpávkové páry, co se s párou z ucpávek poté děje a co by se stalo, kdyby KUP nefungoval. Otázka byla zodpovězena.
