Abstract:

The Functionalist Wittal Villa, located in Brno–Pisárky, was designed by Heinrich Blum
for the Wittal family in 1932. The proposal aims to restore the villa for the purposes of
the Jewish center ŠTETL.
In order to preserve the essence of the villa, the original layout has been retained and
elements added during the 20th century have been removed. The main floor of the villa
is the first floor, which contains the café facilities as well as seating areas and spaces
for lectures. The second floor accommodates rooms for various workshops and
studios. The basement level houses the archive and offices. Workshops and a training
kitchen are located in the original garage. A newly designed elevator shaft on the
northern facade connects all floors. The plot on which the villa stands is sloping,
therefore terraces have been created. The brief also included the placement of a
Jewish sukkah on the site.

Na připomínky oponenta reagovala studentka přijatelným způsobem, na otázky položené členy komise k předložené práci odpovídala poněkud nejistě, některé z nich nebyla schopen zodpovědět zcela uspokojivě. Podrobněji: Studentka představila svůj návrh pěkně srozumitelně. Poté bylo přečteno hodnocení vedoucího a posudek oponenta. Na dotazy oponenta studentka odpověděla uspokojivě. Dotazy vznesené v rozpravě: barevnost prvků, povrchová úprava zábradlí (autorského detailu), umístění výtahu (kontrukční řešení), opěrná stěna (drenáž), využití hluchého prostoru.
