The subject of the bachelor’s thesis was the design of a cold storage and freezing facility for meat, fruit, and vegetables in Jevišovka in the South Moravian Region, on the site of a former pig farm. The building is designed as a two-storey structure, with the production section—containing refrigeration and freezing chambers—forming its dominant vertical element, reaching a maximum clear height of 7.1 m. The remaining layout is divided into four areas directly connected to the production spaces. Technical facilities are located in the south-western part of the building. Adjacent to them is a covered dispatch area, enabling convenient handling of goods in all weather conditions. The final section, vertically divided, contains staff facilities with an administrative area on the second floor, featuring windows oriented to the northeast. The two-storey building is particularly characterized by its distinctive exterior, complemented by perforated façade metal sheets. Their pattern was inspired by falling raindrops freezing in motion. The flat roof maximizes the surface area for photovoltaic panels, oriented to the southwest at an inclination of 25°. The energy generated by these photovoltaic panels is intended to be used primarily for the operation of the refrigeration and freezing units. Sandwich panels were selected as the building envelope, allowing the structure to be visually differentiated into the production section and the remaining areas through color. A small tree line was proposed along the perimeter fence to create a visual barrier and provide potential shading for parking areas. This facility should help reduce the logistical demands associated with regional food distribution and offer new job opportunities for local residents.

Chladírna a mrazírna ovoce a zeleniny. Studentka prezentuje svoji bakalářskou práci. Studentka odpovídá na oponentské připopmínky: - řešení stzropních konstrukcí? - dilatace konstrukcí? - detail u atiky? Otázka komise: - co ovlivňovalo návrh z architektonického hlediska? - řešení schodišťového prostoru a schodů? - realizovatelnost základů, posyp? - nakládání s dešťovou vodou? - pozice okna? Na připomínky oponenta reagoval studentka přijatelným způsobem. Na otázky položené členy komise k předložené práci odpovídal poněkud nejistě, některé z nich nebyl schopen zodpovědět zcela uspokojivě.
