This bachelor thesis describes the complete technological process of creating a large-scale thematic map in a selected area of Brno-střed (Žižkova street). The objective was to produce digital data in 1:200 scale for the Institute of Geodesy, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology, to be used in the Mapping course. The introductory part is
dedicated to theoretical foundations, ranging from map definitions and reference systems to a description of the surveying equipment and methods used. The second part of the thesis describes the complex computational and graphic procedures for processing the measured data, including final accuracy testing. Both the resulting measurements and graphic outputs
were produced to meet the criteria for the 2nd accuracy class.
