This master's thesis deals with the comprehensive development of an innovative device for the gentle heating of BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) for dogs. The main motivation was to construct a safe and user-friendly system capable of heating deep-frozen raw meat to an ideal serving temperature without the risk of nutrient degradation or hygienic compromise. The thesis covers the entire process from the initial concept, through mechanical and electronic design, to the implementation of control algorithms on a microcontroller platform. A major contribution is the development and integration of an original mathematical model that simulates complex thermodynamic processes inside the device, including the complex phase change of the food. By employing numerical methods and an adaptive computational step, the system can predict the minimum required heating time. This contactless approach completely eliminates the need to insert temperature probes into the heated food, thereby ensuring maximum hygiene. The heating process itself is optimized by a two-stage control algorithm that guarantees rapid food preparation while strictly adhering to temperature limits. The result of the thesis is a tested and fully functional prototype, which represents an efficient alternative to conventional thawing methods that are unsuitable for raw meat.

Při obhajobě student nejprve prezentoval svoji diplomovou práci, následně byly přečteny posudky a student odpovídal na dotazy oponenta. Poté byly členy komise položeny následující otázky: Jaká je cena zařízení? Je možné odložit start ohřevu? Obhajoba byla komisí hodnocena jako výborná.
