The aim of this master’s thesis is the optimal design of the reconstruction of local roads within the municipality of Násedlovice. The design is intended to resolve the overall concept of the given locality, in particular with an emphasis on adjusting the cross-sectional arrangement of the roads, improving the existing conditions from the perspective of the traffic design, and reorganizing the existing areas in order to ensure smoother operation, better legibility, and safety for road users in the area of interest. Furthermore, the thesis should cover the provision of adequate sight distances in the given locality, the design of a pedestrian facility, and the solution of stationary traffic. The proposed solution should be economical to the maximum possible extent with respect to construction implementation and execution. An integral part of the thesis should also be the solution of the adjacent area, especially with regard to preserving and improving serviceability in the given locality for local residents. The thesis should also include a proposal for the reconstruction of the existing sewer system. However, this proposal serves only to broaden the author’s knowledge regarding the design of sewer pipelines, which constitute an integral part of the street space, especially for roads in built-up areas. This part of the thesis will, however, not be addressed in full detail and within the full scope of the design.
