Abstract:

This diploma thesis investigates the influence of aggregate temperature during the produ-ction of asphalt mixture ACO 11+ on its mechanical properties. The theoretical part fo-cuses on the processing of aggregates and reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) in asphalt mixing plants, as well as on the ageing of asphalt binder. In the experimental part, test specimens were prepared from asphalt mixture samples in accordance with relevant stan-dards and subsequently subjected to selected laboratory testing methods. The specimens were tested using the Thermal Stress Restrained Specimen Test (TSRST) to assess low-temperature properties and the two-point bending test on a notched trapezoidal beam (2PB-TR). The evaluated test results may serve asphalt mixture producers as a basis for determining safe aggregate preheating temperatures when producing asphalt mixtures containing non-preheated RAP.

Student představil prezentaci své DP na téma "Ověření vlastností asfaltové směsi teplotou použitého kameniva". Student popsal cíle DP, jednotlivé zkušební metody, přípravu vzorků, výsledky nízkoteplotních charakteristik, zkoušku a výsledky tuhosti metodou 2PB-TR, teplotní a frekvenční citlivost u zkoušky tuhosti na připravených tělesech a závěr. Na otázky oponenta odpověděl student v pořádku. Na otázku komise týkající se výroby asfaltové směsi student odpověděl v pořádku. Na otázky týkající se výsledků tuhosti v závislosti na frekvenci a volbu teploty student odpovídal v pořádku. Na otázku týkající se obsahu R-materiálu ve směsi student odpověděl v pořádku.
