Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on the design of the load-bearing structure of a pedestrian footbridge.
Within the textual part of the thesis, two alternative structural solutions of the load-bearing system are developed and subsequently compared in terms of structural design and construction technology. Based on this evaluation, the most suitable variant is selected and further subjected to a structural analysis. For the purposes of the structural assessment, a computational model of the structure was created using the software SCIA Engineer 22.0. Based on the selected variant, detailed drawings of the load-bearing structure and visualizations were subsequently prepared.
