Abstract:

The thesis deals with the structural design of a two-chamber reinforced concrete water tower with an integrated observation tower. The design of the supporting structure is based on the provided documentation. The introductory part presents a modification of the original project, which includes adjustments to the structural design of the building, specification of the basic dimensions, and a design of selected structural elements with regard to static effects, feasibility, and water tower operation requirements. Subsequently, a static analysis of the structure is performed in RFEM 6 software. Based on the results obtained, a detailed static calculation is prepared in accordance with European EN standards, focusing on the assessment of the ultimate limit states and serviceability limit states of selected parts of the structure. Special attention is paid to the effects of water loads, operational loads, and environmental influences on the design of reinforced concrete structures, including requirements for watertightness and durability. The work includes a technical description of the supporting structure and an accompanying report with a static calculation, supplemented by drawings of the shape and reinforcement of selected structural elements and a visualization of the entire structural solution.
