The aim of this diploma thesis is to design the building structure of a public amenity facility and to propose a conceptual solution for building services systems and water management, with the objective of minimizing the building’s energy demand and utilizing renewable energy sources. The project is divided into three parts. The first part focuses on the architectural and structural design and consists of project documentation of assigned nearly zero-energy building at the level required for obtaining a building permit. The second part is dedicated to building services engineering. The third part comprises a study of the possibilities of greywater utilization in kindergarten buildings. The designed building is a kindergarten located in the city of Brno. It is a two-storey rectangular building with a flat roof. The structure is founded on concrete foundation strips. The vertical structures are masonry made of sand-lime bricks. The building is insulated with the ETICS. The floor structures consist of reinforced concrete hollow-core slabs. Heat losses through ventilation are eliminated using a mechanical ventilation unit with heat recovery. A heat pump provides space heating, domestic hot water preparation, and cooling of the building. The building is heated by bench convectors and panel radiators. Electrical energy is supplied by photovoltaic panels installed on the flat roof of the building. Rainwater is collected in a storage tank and subsequently used for irrigation, while excess rainwater is infiltrated into the ground.

2. Soběstačnost objektu - PENB. 3. Měření průtoku vody, četnost využívání teplé vody. 4. Dispoziční řešení objektu. 5. Základové konstrukce, hloubka založení. 6. Bezpečnost pohybu dětí a automobilové dopravy na pozemku. 7. Schéma zapojení VZT jednotky. 8. Obsluha a řízení teplot v objektu. Studentka výborně reagovala a zaujala stanoviska ke všem připomínkám k předložené diplomové práci od oponenta i členů komise.
